Type + Architecture. The Veenman Printer building in Ede, Netherlands was designed by Neutelings Riedijk. The typography by Dutch design hero Karel Martens is made of serigraphed glass (text by Dutch poet K. Schippers). “The Alphabet” is a vintage-style short film of 26 typefaces. Staring well known typefaces such as Arial, Baskerville, Didot, Helvetica, Verdana and even Stone Sans, they appear in alphabetical order and each character is the first letter of the typeface’s name.
